A student with long red hair and bright green eyes bustled through the door to the Charms classroom. She was the first one there; she was intent on getting a good seat away from Potter. Her almond shaped eyes scanned the room for her teacher, and rested upon the blackboard behind a stack of books. There was a small note written on the blackboard.
"I'm sorry I was not able to make it to class today," Lily Evans read, a frown gracing her lips. "Please partner up with a student of your choice and practice the Levatation Charm.
"The incantation is 'Wingardium Leviosa', and you use the Swish-and-Flick wand movement. Have fun!" Lily finished with a sigh. Charms was her favourite class, and without a teacher here someone would ruin it.

Remus Lupin sauntered into the classroom, his nose buried in a book. He sat down in the far back and waited for the rest of the Marauders to show up. Knowing Sirius and James, they would be late to class as always.
Remus marked his place and chanced a look around the classroom. His eyes landed on a bored looking red head in the front row, and talking aloud. He flicked his gaze in the direction she was looking and quickly read the note.
"Such a disappointment," he said quietly. "Hello Lily, fancy meeting you here." He grinned cheekily, almost like Sirius and James' smug smirk.

James came in not long after Remus, read the note and took a seat "Hey, Remus," he said and grinned "Want to partner up?"
He then looked at her and gapped "Evans, unless, you want to be my partner?" he flashed her a big cheesey smile. "My heart, it leviates for only you," he said and put a hand on his chest.

Lily chose not to turn around, she already knew he was smirking. Sad, isn't it?
"Potter, I wouldn't partner with you if I had a choice between you and Sirius's dirty laundry." She hissed, glaring at the black board. He always knew how to rub her the wrong way.

Remus shook his head and rolled his eyes at James' antics. He couldn't believe the barmy lines his friend used.
"Dear Merlin Prongs," Remus snickered, slapping James on the shoulder. "Are you a Marauder or a candy-floss writer?"
He snorted at his own joke, wishing Padfoot was here as well. They always did love taking the mickey out on Prongs... it was a strange hobby the other three Marauders shared
